Trail Mix

The dark chocolate in this snack can help keep blood pressure low.


3 cups whole grain cereal (look for the Whole Grain Stamp or check the package label)
1½ cups mini pretzels
⅔ cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts
½ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup dark chocolate chips or banana chips


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy!
  2. Note: You can change the type of nuts and dried fruit if you like. Store extra trail mix in a plastic bag to keep it fresh.
